Many life coaches that I work with tell me: "I feel like because I'm a life coach, I always need to be positive, strong, and acting like I'm living my life purpose".
Of course, as entrepreneurs, it's important to put our best foot forward ~ but there are a few reasons it's so important to NOT be "OK".
Purely from a business standpoint, being transparent about the process allows people (and yes, potential clients) to see that they can have their ups and downs and still live the life they dream about.
By letting people in on how you overcome tough times, you're authentically marketing ~ showing them how they can go from victim to victory, too.
Why not give yourself the same gift?
We are all human, and we all put our pants on one leg at a time. Let's be kind and generous with ourselves and our clients, and allow "not okay," authentically.
PS ~ this is not a carte blanche to start whining and moaning about every tiny thing that irks you! Pretty please let's not be littering social media with petty complaints.
PPS - What are you fighting right now, that you could accept and meet yourself where you are?
