This is pretty much the awesomest conversation I've ever had.
DD: Mom, if you die and I'm still a kid, would I have to go to an orphanage?
Mom: No, you'd have daddy and that's not going to happen.
DD: But what if you AND daddy die? Then do I go to an orphanage?
Mom: No. If something happens to me AND daddy, you go live with aunt rachie and uncle pj. AND that's not going to happen. But there will ALWAYS be someone to take care of you.
DD: What if our whole FAMILY dies? THEN do I go to an orphanage?
Mom: Not happening. Don't worry. You will not ever be left alone.
DD: Well if you die, how will I get to Rachie's?
Mom: She'll come get you. But it's not going to happen.
DD: Well, like, where will you be buried with the head rock?
Mom: I have no idea. I haven't thought much about that because we will be really, really, REALLY REALLY OLD.
DD: Well, I am going to adopt. A boy AND a girl. I'm going to find a really good girl and a really good boy. Getting a little cut in your belly, like, that seems like it hurts so I decided. I'm adopting. I know two will be hard but I can handle it.
Mom: That's a great idea. There are a lot of children who need parents.
DD: I'm going to go fart in the bathroom. "Let it go, let it go!!" Pfffttttthhhh.
